Rashi is a first year PhD student co-supervised by Dr Ailith Ewing and Prof Val Brunton in the Institute of Genetics and Cancer at the University of Edinburgh.

Rashi graduated from Newcastle University with a first-class honours degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2022 and a distinction in MRes in Cancer in 2023.

Now her work focusses on identifying drug response biomarkers in a soft tissue uterine sarcoma called leiomyosarcoma. Her project incorporates both computational and wet lab skills.
